Artsdepot, in conjunction with London Jazz Festival, is organising a half-term project - Music Depot - from Monday 26 – Friday 30 October. Participants aged 11-16 will work with US jazz and hip-hop artist Napoleon Maddox, as well as leading UK jazz musicians to explore links between rap and jazz and create music between the two genres. There will be workshops throughout the week, finishing with a performance on the Friday.

Sound Connections is running ASPIRE! as part of Youth Music Week 2009. It is a day of master-classes in performance technique and the Music Industry for all aspiring musicians, vocalists, instrumentalists, writers and producers (ages 13-21yrs) and will be held at Hoxton Hall between 12noon and 5pm on Saturday 7th November.
